We are here to help you grow your business.
Why? Because we believe that great businesses can do great good.
Good for their owners, good for their teams, and great for their customers. The good extends to an economy, a society, and beyond.
I’m Laura, and here’s how I came to love business. I grew up in a family committed to making a positive impact in the world. My dad was the CEO of a non-profit, and I loved learning about leadership and strategy as I grew up. I wanted to do good, and assumed I’d work for a non-profit, NGO, or government someday. It seemed like an unconflicted way to do good in the world.
I ended up studying at an excellent, but small, college. There wasn’t an International Relations major, and so I started studying Political Science. I quickly realized that line of study was not practical enough for me. I wanted to do good. I enjoyed learning theory, but I really wanted tactics.
I figured the practical skills I could learn through a business education would be helpful in my (decidedly) non-business career objectives. I was right, but what I learned sent me in an entirely new direction.
After university, equipped with my BSc in Entrepreneurship, I took a job in corporate sales. I planned to pay off my student loans and then head into non-profit. The plan worked. After 3 years at AT&T my business education was much more well-rounded, my debt was paid off, and I set off to find my true calling.
I spent several years working for non-profits in the Middle East and Europe, and learned a lot. I realized that business skills are essential to non-profits, and often are lacking. I also learned that non-profits are complicated. The incentive structure can become misaligned with the organization’s objectives, and things can get dicey. I still love working with non-profits and believe they do tremendous good in the world, but I decided the organization I start should be a business.

Marketers need to see the angles. More diversity on our team means more insight and perspective for our clients.
Proudly a woman-owned small business.
I understand how complicated marketing can seem. Experts speak in technical jargon and tell you that you need their services, but never bother to look at the big picture of your company’s goals or help you create a cohesive marketing plan to get you there.
At Pula Marketing, I work first as a marketing consultant for my customers. Before creating anything, I work with you to clarify your goals, understand your customer’s journey, and make a marketing plan that will help you grow. Then, we will work with the right team to help you execute that plan.
I have had the pleasure of consulting with the leaders of many small- to medium-sized organizations over the past 12 years. Since 2013, I have been a marketing consultant and have written and created websites designed to drive sales for my clients. I love creating tools that reflect the value a company brings to the marketplace while helping that business grow.
As a StoryBrand Certified Guide, I use a proven framework to help businesses connect with their customers, utilizing the power of a great story. It is the most simple and effective framework I have come across. It is a game-changer and I would love to put it to work for you.
