Me too. I’m Sara Irvine, and I have been directing string quartets for over 30 years.
I’ve attended events where I’ve felt like I was going through the motions and left without any strong memories. I’ve also experienced the opposite, when live music made a moment so powerful that time stood still. I’ll remember those moments forever.
